Summary: Nice hotel, I think its either new or had a refurbishment recently. I was surprised that a modern hotel didn't have a safe, i feel that a safe is the best way to store my passport and other valuables. Also there was no security lock on the door, i didn't feel unsafe during my stay but I guess this is something that we've come to expect when staying at a hotel. My room was nice and spacious, good location to get into the centre of Christchurch. The couple of members of staff I spoke to were friendly and helpful.
